Imagine my panic when my boss, Terri Cole, (President/CEO of the GACC) came to me around noon on this past Thursday to let me know part of my responsibilities include updating and maintaining the NMCEA web site. Especially since I am not a “Web” kind of girl…I am used to submitting content and letting others make it “pretty.” Also, I had a deadline to get it done by this past Sunday at noon.
At any rate, Brian was on the phone with me in the evening hours on that Thursday, giving me tips and advice AND sent me links to help me navigate through Snapp-Pages (something I had never heard of until that ominous Thursday afternoon).
After we hung up, he sent me his contact information so I could reach out to him if necessary again. And, I did have to reach out to him – on Super Bowl Sunday of all days! I hate to bother anyone on their time off as I am a firm believer in quality of life for my staff.
He called me yesterday and understood the deadline I was under and helped with hyper-links as well as making the pages look “pretty.” Thanks to Brian’s help, I met my deadline.
Also, later that day, he called and left me a voice message to check in to see if everything was working okay. Always, when speaking with him, he was professional, friendly and extremely helpful.
These days, true Customer Service is something that is lacking in our businesses and it is sad. We have been accustomed to mediocre behavior and have to accept it. Brian went above and beyond “normal” and set the bar very high.
