Good afternoon, Richard and Ryan -
Today is my final day working at the North Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and I just wanted to thank you both and your entire team for your support and assistance over the last 18 months. You have been all been so helpful and such a pleasure to work with! I do not know who will be taking over my position, but the info@northphoenixchamber.com email will remain active, and the Executive Director Jason Bressler will still be a good contact should you need anything from us. I wish you all continued success! Best, Kathryn M. Dear Member Support,
WOW!!!! That is way more than I expected. I really, really appreciate it. I thought it was good before but now it’s great!!! Thank you again. Respectfully, Vincent C., Sales VP ![]() About Us Mike Wilhelmson, Almanor West Grill Mike fell in love with cooking at the age of six and never got over it. “This is my passion; it feels like play to work in the kitchen. Even though the hours may be long they just melt by because I’m having so much fun.” Apparently, his idea of fun tastes terrific. Mike already owns and operates the Lakeside Café, a successful roadside eatery that serves breakfast and lunch and specializes in mouth-watering pastries. Almanor West Grill will serve dinner as well as lunch. With thirty-two years of experience in the food service industry behind him and a scenic view near Lake Almanor around him, Mike is excited to see this fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Mike studied culinary arts at Shasta College and completed classes at Butte College that eventually earned him a job as Dietary Service Supervisor at Redding Specialty Hospital. He has also worked at Anderson Care Center Nursing Home. For many years he was Assistant Correctional Food Manager for the Department of Corrections where he won the Governor’s Employee Safety Award in 2011, which recognizes individuals who have provided outstanding health and safety to the state. Mike also developed a special place in his heart for Italian cuisine, while working at Pietro’s, an award winning restaurant in Vacaville. Mike intends to use all his skills to serve up more great food at Almanor West Grill, specializing in steak, BBQ, seafood and Italian fare. |
